Toby’s Journey to Remission and the Launch of Toby’s Hope

We are thrilled to share some exciting news about Toby, the heart and soul behind Toby’s Hope. After a year-long battle with cancer, Toby, Suman Kamath’s beloved dog, is officially in remission. His recovery is a testament to the power of love, determination, and access to comprehensive care.

But this journey wasn’t easy. The road to remission was filled with challenges—from navigating complex treatment options to the emotional toll of caring for a sick pet. These challenges inspired Suman to launch Toby’s Hope, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting pet parents facing the daunting reality of a canine cancer diagnosis.

In a recent interview with KOMO News, Suman joined anchors Steve McCarron and Tyrah Majors on ARC Seattle to discuss Toby’s inspiring story and the mission behind Toby’s Hope. She shared her vision for creating a community where families can find the resources, guidance, and financial support they need during such a difficult time.

We’re so proud of Toby’s resilience and the incredible work Suman is doing to make a difference for other families. Watch the full interview below to hear Toby’s story and learn more about the resources Toby’s Hope will provide.

Together, we can create a compassionate and inclusive community for all pet families navigating canine cancer.
